Sourced from the Vinho Verde region, this dry white wine is made from grapes Alvarinho, Arinto and Avesso. It has a citrus color and crystalline appearance. Stand out ripe fruit notes of white plum with an interesting minerality. The palate is fresh and balanced with a pleasant ending.
2009 was a year of remarkable qualities. Warm, sunny summer contributed to achieving the optimum ripeness of the grapes. After harvesting fermentation and aging in stainless steel vats took place with skin maceration and 'batonnage'.
Aided by sustainable agricultural practices the 2009 Casa do Arrabalde was made with a focus on minimal intervention, so as to avoid the use of preservatives, with the intention of creating a wine that is natural and expresses our culture and region.
